Oppo announced the Oppo A1 5G in China last month. Now the company has introduced a new version of the device called Oppo A1 Vitality Edition, aimed at frugal consumers who do not want to compromise on performance and style. This phone looks like a rebranded version of the Oppo A58 5G that was released last year. Let’s take a closer look at its key features.

Features of OPPO A1 Vitality Edition

Oppo A1 Vitality Edition has a 6.56-inch display with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. The DCI-P3 covers 100% of the wide color gamut, providing a vivid and realistic image. Thanks to the 4096-level intelligent brightness control, the screen automatically adapts to the ambient light conditions, optimizing visibility. The display offers an immersive viewing experience with 1612×720 resolution, 89.8% screen-to-body ratio and 480 nits maximum brightness.

Design-wise, the A1 Vitality Edition features a crystal diamond design for an elegant and premium look. It is thin and light, with a thickness of approximately 7.99 mm and a weight of approximately 188 g. It also offers IP54 dust and water protection, protecting your device from daily hazards.

A1 Vitality Edition runs on the Dimensity 6020 chipset based on the A76 architecture with Mali-G57 GPU under the hood. This ensures smooth operation and efficient multitasking. The device supports RAM expansion and offers a maximum capacity of 20GB with 12GB internal LPDDR4X RAM + 8GB expandable RAM. Onboard storage is also expandable.

The A1 Vitality Edition has a 50-megapixel primary camera on the back and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. There is an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front panel. The device offers a variety of camera features, including portrait mode, AI scene enhancement, RGB video recording, and super night scene mode.

Connectivity options include dual SIM, dual standby, dual 5G, 360 degree surround sound antennas and dual channel 5G+WiFi acceleration. The audio capabilities of the A1 Vitality Edition are enhanced by a linear speaker with True Sound technology. It provides optimized sound quality for music, movies, games and short videos, improving the overall multimedia experience. The smartphone is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery with support for SuperVOOC 33 W fast charging.

The device is available in three colors: calm teal, starry black and fresh wind purple. Oppo A1 Vitality Edition costs 1,799 yuan ($256).
