Samsung recently released the May 2023 security update for the Galaxy Note 10 series in the United States. After rolling out in South Korea, the update is now available for carrier unlocked models in the US, while global versions of the smartphone are not getting it yet.

Latest version of marked software N97xU1UEU7HWE1 Contains the May 2023 security patch for unlocked Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ models. The update mainly focuses on fixing more than 70 vulnerabilities found in Galaxy devices, including fixing issues in FactoryTest, ActivityManagerService, kernel log file, Theme Manager, GearManagerStub and Tips app.

Additionally, the update fixes vulnerabilities in the Shannon modem found in Exynos processors, as well as in the bootloader, phone system, call settings components, and AppLock access control. The update includes 58 security patches from Google in addition to Samsung fixes.

To install the May 2023 security update on an unlocked Galaxy Note 10 or Galaxy Note 10+ in the US, go to Settings, select Software Update and click Download and Install. Alternatively, you can manually download the firmware from the official site or third-party sites and install it on your device.

Samsung introduced the Galaxy Note 10 series with Android 9 in the second half of 2019. The devices received the Android 10 update in early 2020, followed by the Android 11 update that year. The Android 12 update arrived for the Galaxy Note 10 series in late 2021. Please note that these smartphones will not receive any future Android OS updates.
