Xiaomi is preparing to launch the highly anticipated Xiaomi Civi 3 smartphone on May 25. Earlier today, the company released promotional photos showing the back of the device and dual-tone color options.

Now, the company has released a promotional video showing the front panel of the Civi 3 and showing the pill-shaped front camera design. This design houses two impressive 32-megapixel selfie lenses that allow users to take stunning photos. It is noteworthy that the tablet-shaped design of the Xiaomi Civi 3 looks even more sophisticated than the “dynamic island” design of the iPhone 14 Pro.

One of the standout features of the Xiaomi Civi 3 is its dual front camera, which offers DSLR-like portrait blur. Building on the success of its predecessor, the Xiaomi Civi 2, the Civi 3 is expected to inherit features such as ambient portrait video and 3D video enhancement while introducing exciting new selfie features.

As for the screen, the Xiaomi Civi 3 will have a 6.55-inch FHD+ curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is equipped with a fingerprint scanner under the screen. The Civi 3 will feature a Dimensity 8200-Ultra chipset along with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The device is expected to come with 12GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage and a 4,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.

As for the front camera, the Xiaomi Civi 3 will impress with its triple rear camera. The device will be equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX800 main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). Civi 3 will run on MIUI 14 based Android 13 operating system. The top of the phone has an infrared sensor and the speaker design includes dual speakers in the earpiece that provide stunning sound quality with support for Dolby Audio technology.

The Xiaomi Civi 3 will be available in gorgeous colors like Pink Purple, Mint Green, Serendipity Gold, and Coconut Grey.
