Chinese tech giant and BBK subsidiary OnePlus officially launched the Ace 2V smartphone in China in March this year. The OnePlus Ace 2V is a premium mid-range mobile with an elegant design and powerful features. The phone dispels speculation that it will be a unified variant of the regular OnePlus Ace 2 to create a unique name for itself. It seems that OnePlus is not ready to take away the uniqueness of the device as it has announced a new version of the phone’s memory.

The OnePlus Ace 2V has now received a new variant with 1TB of storage combined with 16GB of RAM. The model is even pocket-friendly, priced at 2,999 yuan ($426). The new variant is expected to go on sale in China on May 31 at 20:00. OnePlus has yet to release details of its global launch. The phone will get a 200 yuan discount for the 618, bringing the price down to 2,799 yuan ($398).

Initially, the OnePlus Ace 2V was offered in three memory configurations – 12 GB + 256 GB, 16 GB + 256 GB and 16 GB + 512 GB. Interestingly, the 1TB version will be sold for the same price as the 512GB version when the 618 goes on sale next month.

Except for the new storage option, the model retains the same features as the others. Let us remind you that the Ace 2V, which runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chip, is equipped with a 6.74-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2772×1240 pixels. The display supports a variable refresh rate of 120 Hz, ultra-high brightness of 1450 nits and HDR 10+.

The phone has a triple rear camera consisting of an ultra-sharp 64MP main camera, a 2MP macro lens and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. For selfies, there is a 16 MP camera on the front. The phone runs the Android 13-based ColorOS 13 operating system. It equally supports infrared remote control and one-button remote control of home appliances. There is also full-featured NFC support for contactless payments. The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery under the hood and supports 80W Super Flash charging.
