Except for the color, which implies that a different metal was used for the body of the Chinese replica, both processors are identical in design and arrangement of elements.

Information about the processor also appeared in the Geekbench 5 synthetic benchmark database. According to the specs list, the PowerStar P3-01105 processor in the PowerLeader DP1UI-2 workstation is an exact copy of the Intel Core i3-10105 with the same clock frequency. 3.7 GHz, 6 megabytes of L3 cache and 65 watts TDP. Performance is the same – the Chinese company has not even overclocked its processor.

Chipmaker PowerLeader said it expects total sales of 1.5 million per year. There is no information about the price. These will be supplied as part of already assembled computers, not retail separately. The company has also revealed a complete roadmap that includes future PC processors. It looks like the engineers will continue to produce renamed Intel chips under their own brand.

The “new” chips will target a variety of segments, including education, government, energy, industrial, finance, medical, retail and gaming.

No response from Intel yet.
