Gradually, the puzzle pieces Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 are coming together. We recently learned that both sophisticated models will appear in new colors. Now, according to a recent leak, the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus chipset under the hood.
The Tipster Ice universe announced on Twitter that Samsung’s future advanced devices will be based on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus. The tipster looks pretty confident in his statement, and if his claims are to be believed, we can expect performance improvements from the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4.
Thanks to Yoges Braur, we know that the plus version of the flagship chip Qualcomm will be produced by TSMC. Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus is expected to be 10% faster and more energy efficient than Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
Previous reports had shown that the Z Fold 4 is powered by the same 4400mAh battery as the previous model. But they say the Flip 4 has a bigger battery than the Flip 3. The total capacity of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 battery is said to be 3303 mAh. Since it can be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus SoC processor, both phones are expected to have the best battery life.
Speaking of specs, the Z Flip 4 is expected to feature a larger 2-inch display, while the Fold 4 is said to have improved camera sensors. Recent leaks have also shown that the smartphones will appear in new colors. We still do not know about the prices of the sophisticated models.
