Honor X50 with Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 to be launched soon

Honor introduced the Honor 90 and 90 Pro smartphones in China, with powerful features and a pleasing display. While the two phones haven’t been released outside of China yet, it looks like the company is also working on a new mid-range model in the X series. Not long ago, the Honor X50 was spotted on TENAA with all its specs and has now received China’s National Quality Certification for the device. hints that it is one step closer to its launch.

Honor X50 mobile phone with model number ALI-AN00 has successfully passed the national quality certification. The listing states that the smartphone supports fast charging up to 35W and offers 5G connectivity. The unit’s switching power supply supports 5VDC, 2A or 9VDC, 2A or 11VDC and 3.2A MAX.

According to the TENAA listing, the smartphone measures 163.75.5×7.98 mm and weighs 185 grams. It has a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1.5K+ 2652×1200 pixels and a built-in fingerprint scanner. Honor X50 may be available in 128GB, 256GB and 512GB non-expandable memory versions. It is powered by a 5,700 mAh (nominal) battery, which suggests its typical capacity could be 5,800 mAh.

It looks like the Honor X50 will be powered by Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, a mid-range SoC recently released by Qualcomm. We’ve seen this processor before in the Moto G Stylus (2023) earlier this week. The processor uses a Cortex-A78 CPU as the main CPU core and is built on Samsung’s 4nm process. It has a configuration of 4x CA78 at 2.2 GHz + 4x CA55 at 1.8 GHz. Compared to the previous generation, this configuration provides a 40% increase in performance.
