According to recent reports, Redmi 12 is on the verge of its official launch. Last week, the unannounced smartphone surfaced on Xiaomi Portugal’s website, where its key specs, price and three color options were revealed. Following this leak, Winfuture.de published a post showing the leaked official renders of the Redmi 12 and giving a detailed look at its design.
Official renders of the Redmi 12 released by the publication show that it will be available in three colors, black, white and blue. The device can have a punch-hole display on the front and a triple camera on the back.
The camera placement on the back of the Redmi 12 is similar to the camera placement on the iPhone 13 and iPhone 14 series. On the right side of the device are the volume up button and the fingerprint sensor and the integrated power button. .
The report claims that the Redmi 12 is expected to launch in July with a price of around €199. In terms of specifications, the Redmi 12 will have a 6.8 inch FHD+ 90Hz LCD display, Helio G88 chipset, 4GB of RAM, 128GB of storage and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging. It will have an 8-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel (primary) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro/depth) triple camera setup. It will come with other features like Dual SIM, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, IR blaster, microSD card slot, NFC, USB-C port and 3.5mm audio jack.
