Tomorrow ZTE will officially present the flagship smartphones of the Axon 40 series, but today live photos have appeared on the Internet that allow comparing the best Axon 40 Ultra with the best Galaxy S22 Ultra. And I must say that it looks very good against the background of the undisputed hit Samsung new ZTE.

The ZTE Axon 40 Ultra will clearly appeal to pure display advocates without any cutouts and intermediate cameras. And indeed such a screen looks good. But the question of the quality of photos and videos for the camera with the ZTE Axon 40 Ultra display is still unanswered. The screen of the new ZTE is curved like the Galaxy S22 Ultra, but its bezel is narrower. Interestingly, the photo was taken in China, but in the phone book Galaxy S22 Ultra – Russian names and surnames.

If the main camera Galaxy S22 Ultra is represented by four sensors, then the ZTE Axon 40 Ultra consists of three modules. The most important of these is the 1/1.73 inch Sony IMX787 optical sensor, a 35mm equivalent focal length lens and optical image stabilization system.

The second module has the same Sony IMX787 sensor, but is already attached to a 16mm wide-angle lens. Finally, the third periscope module uses a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B 1/2-inch optical sensor, 91mm EDR lens and optical stabilization system. Due to the latest module, the ZTE Axon 40 Ultra favorably differs from other flagships, mainly periscope modules that use sensors with a resolution of 5-8 MP and, of course, are not very large. Source
