Honor 90 Lite 5G is listed on a French website

Introduced in China last week, Honor 90 series smartphones consist of two models, Honor 90 and Honor 90 Pro. In an official press release, Honor announced the international availability of its devices with GMS (Google Mobile Services). Also, Honor 90 5G and Honor 90 Lite 5G will be launching in European markets soon, as announced on Honor’s website in France recently.

The website only reveals the model names of these devices without giving any details about the specs or design, but Appuals has revealed the design of the Honor 90 Lite 5G.

The images show the device in three color options: blue, black and silver. On the front of the device, the bottom panel is slightly larger, while the selfie camera sits in a hole in the middle surrounded by minimal bezels on the top and sides. On the back of the phone, there is a triple camera setup with a 100 MP primary sensor that draws attention to the flash.

Judging by the images, the Honor 90 Lite 5G seems to share common features with the Honor X50i 5G, which was previously launched in China, despite some minor changes for the global market. One of the notable differences of the Honor 90 Lite 5G is the triple rear camera setup that sets it apart from the Honor X50i 5G. With that in mind, this will be the brand’s first Lite series device after the Honor 70 Lite.

We expect the 90 Lite to see cross-generational improvements such as an FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, but it will likely be an LCD panel. Bearing in mind that the 70 Lite runs on the entry-level Snapdragon 480+ chipset, the 90 Lite is also likely to feature an updated entry-level SoC such as the Snapdragon 695 or the Dimensity 6020 SoC. More details are expected to emerge as we get closer to launch.
