With this version of the mobile operating system, support for the old iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus models ends. They won’t be able to get iOS 17. They won’t get the iPhone X either. All other iPhone versions released later (that is, starting with the second-generation iPhone XR, XS, XS Max, and iPhone SE) are compatible with the new operating system.
As for iPadOS 17, this operating system is not compatible with the 5th generation iPad and the first generation iPad Pro with a 12.9-inch screen. And here is the list of supported models:
It’s easy with Apple’s smartwatch: all devices that support watchOS 9 (i.e. starting with Apple Watch Series 4) also support watchOS 10.
