The new Mac Pro looks the same as the old version from Intel – with a metal casing that has led to numerous memes about its grater resemblance. However, significant changes await us inside.

- Mac Pro will be equipped Apple M2 Ultra chipIt is built according to the 5 nanometer technical process. These are two M2 Max matrices connected by Apple’s UltraFusion technology. The M2 Ultra doubles the memory bandwidth of the M2 Max and supports 50% more memory than the M1 Ultra. The processor is expected to be 20% faster than the M1 Ultra.

- It has a 24-core processor and a 76-core GPU inside. Apple claims that the full-featured model can be up to 3x faster than the older Intel version.
- The computer is also equipped with six open PCIe Gen 4 slots for expansion. The standard isn’t the newest, but it’s still incredibly fast. It supports most of the cards, monitors and expansion modules currently used by professional creative workers.
- Will have eight onboard Thunderbolt ports – twice as much as before. Six of them are located at the back and two are located at the top.
- You can get it in maximum configuration Up to 192 gigabytes of RAM.

The new Mac Pro supports up to six Pro Display XDR displays and is also equipped with a Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 interface for connecting the latest accessories. The Mac Pro also has three USB-A ports, two “high-speed” HDMI ports (supports resolutions up to 8K and frame rates up to 240 hertz), and two 10 gigabit Ethernet ports.
Fortunately, Apple hasn’t forgotten the headphone jack.

The new Mac Pro model will be available starting June 13 at the following price: $6,999.
