It is interesting that just a few hours before the presentation, seemingly consolidated information appeared on the network that the device will be much more affordable – $1,999 in the basic configuration. This information implies that the company has multiple versions of the headset. This is also indicated by the word “Pro” in the title. If there is a Pro version then it should be a basic version. The company hasn’t said anything about it, but we’ll likely find out closer to the full release.

As noted by the media, the $2,000 price fits much better with some sort of psychological cue for a groundbreaking device in a new category for Apple. The high price announced by the manufacturer may scare off many potential buyers.

When and how to buy

As the company itself states, the Vision Pro will go on sale at the beginning of 2024. Therefore, there is still a lot to wait for. Apple did not disclose the possibility of pre-orders.

It is also unknown whether the company will only sell its new product in the US and a few major European markets, as is often the case, or whether it will expand worldwide. Regardless, if Vision Pro reaches Ukraine, it will only cost a cosmic sum.
