For the last few years, around October, Samsung has been launching W-series foldable smartphones in China, and it looks like this year will be no different because Samsung W24-series smartphones have already passed the 3C certification in China.

China’s 3C organization has approved two upcoming Samsung smartphones, namely SM-W9024 and SM-W7024. According to the listing, Samsung will provide an EP-TA800 charger that supports 11V/2.25A charging for both devices. This shows that both models are expected to offer 25W charging capability. We are likely to see the Samsung W24 and Samsung W24 Flip launch around October, which could follow the SM-W9024 and SM-W7024 respectively.

These devices are supposed to be premium versions of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 respectively. Typically, Samsung partners with China Telecom to launch these phones. Like previous W-series models, the Galaxy W23, W24 and W24 Flip will be sold to charities to raise money. The prices and detailed specifications of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 have not been announced, as they have not yet been officially announced.

In related news, Samsung recently announced its plans for the launch of the highly anticipated Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 smartphones, with the Korean launch scheduled for the last week of July. However, it’s worth noting that launch events for the US and Canadian markets are scheduled for August 11.
