We’re getting closer to Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event next month, where the brand is expected to unveil its fifth-generation Galaxy Z foldable devices. Released last year, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 is now getting the June 2023 security update. It is currently available to users in the UK market. Last month, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 received an astrophotography mode in the Expert RAW app.

Previously, the June 2023 security update was limited to the unlocked version of the Galaxy Z Fold 4. Now, the South Korean brand has released a new security update for international variants of the device. It is deployed to units in the UK. The app is expected to cover more European countries in the coming days.

The latest update for Galaxy Z Fold 4 has firmware version F936BXXU3CWE6. The June 2023 security patch contains fixes for more than 60 vulnerabilities found in Android phones and tablets. 11 of these flaws were found on Samsung devices running Android 11, 12 and 13. It is worth noting that the latest update does not include any new features.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 users in the UK can check for the new update by going to: Settings > Software Update > Download And to organise”To install the new update. The foldable device was launched with Android 12 but currently runs on Android 13. It will get Android 14 based on OneUI 6 later this year.
