Samsung is preparing to launch the highly anticipated Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 foldable smartphones soon. But before the official announcement, a new report has finally given us our first look at the Galaxy Z Flip 5 via a leaked render. .
The news came from the report MySmartPriceSharing an image of the new design of the Galaxy Z Flip 5, sources close to the subject have posted an image of the upcoming foldable phone, which finally gives us our first look at the device. Looking at this render, we see the design of the device confirming the big new cover screen on the Galaxy Z Flip 5. For those who don’t know, the upcoming Flip model is said to have a longer 3.4-inch external display. .
This is much larger than the 1.9 inches seen in previous iterations. Specifically, this makes it even larger than the 3.26-inch screen on the Oppo Find N2 Flip. The dual camera is placed horizontally and the screen cover is located directly below it. With a larger screen area, the device will likely be able to add more functionality and display more information on this panel.
One such example is its use as a better viewfinder for selfies with higher resolution rear cameras. Based on what we know so far, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 will feature a long 6.7-inch primary AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. Under the hood, it will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and powered by a 3,700mAh battery that can support 25W fast charging. The dual 12-megapixel camera is likely to stay on the back as well. The leaked images did not reveal any other fine details, so stay tuned for more updates.
