OnePlus is preparing to launch the OnePlus Nord 3 to the global market soon. Many details about the device have already leaked, such as official images, pricing, 80W fast charging and the presence of an IR blaster. However, the brand is now indirectly mocking its imminent arrival.

OnePlus has officially announced that its upcoming Nord smartphone will launch in July. While the specific name of the device is not directly mentioned, hints from the “The Lab” promotional campaign on the community forum suggest that the Nord 3 will launch in India, Europe and APAC regions.

For those unfamiliar, Lab was originally introduced for OnePlus 3 and 3T devices. The purpose of this campaign is to collect unfiltered feedback from OnePlus users by prioritizing content creativity over follower count when selecting reviewers. Over the years, OnePlus has received outstanding content and genuine user feedback, making “The Lab” a well-loved and successful tradition in the OnePlus community.

OnePlus Nord 3 specs (rumors)

Given the similarities between the OnePlus Nord 3 and the OnePlus Ace 2V, which was previously launched in China, the Nord 3 is expected to share a lot of features with its counterpart. But the noticeable differences are in the camera settings. The Nord 3 is said to have a 16MP front camera and a triple camera system that includes a 50MP primary camera (with OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. In contrast, the Ace V2 has a 64 MP primary camera with OIS.

Additionally, the Nord 3 is expected to feature a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with 2772×1240 pixel FHD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The device is likely to run on the Dimensity 9000 chipset paired with a maximum of 16GB of RAM. Storage options can include 128GB or 256GB, and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging support is also expected. Additionally, users can rely on the under-display fingerprint scanner for secure unlocking.
