We have our first look at the OnePlus V Fold! Trusted whistleblower Steve Hemmerstoffer (aka onleaks) has shared images of the brand’s first CAD-based foldable phone, in collaboration with SmartPrix. During its Cloud 11 event, OnePlus confirmed that it will launch the foldable phones in the third quarter of 2023, with an August launch rumored. Earlier this year, the company also registered its V Fold and V Flip trademarks with China’s National Intellectual Property Administration.

Leaked CAD images of the OnePlus V Fold give our first look at the device from every angle. From the start, the OnePlus V Fold has an elongated form factor and resembles Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold. The outer screen has a center aligned hole, while the inner screen is located in the upper left corner. Both images show thin bezels surrounding both screens, which can result in a large screen-to-body ratio.

In the leaked images, the OnePlus V Fold looks much slimmer. The black leather back features a protruding circular camera module with the Hasselblad logo to confirm its presence. The island has camera sensors and a periscope. The right edge of the foldable phone has your favorite notification slider and volume buttons. There are two speaker grilles at the top and bottom, along with a USB-C port.

Other than that, the renders do not reveal any additional information about the OnePlus V Fold. Looking at the images, the foldable phone doesn’t look like a rebranded version of the OPPO Find N2 as it has a compact form factor. A past report also said that it will have 2K screen resolution and a larger screen.
