Fairphone company is preparing to launch the fifth generation of its smartphone and renders have been published on the internet. The Fairphone 4 was released in late 2021, so an update was delayed.
The new model will be similar to the current generation. The shape of the camera module will be the same, but the novelty will have a narrower bezel display. The front camera will be located in the hole, not the drop notch this time.
As with all Fairphone models, the new product will stand out for its excellent ease of maintenance. Since all the main components have a modular design, it will be possible to replace everything yourself. Given the same design of the previous camera, it is possible that these modules are fully compatible.
There are no specs for the new model, but the Fairphone 4 is based on Snapdragon 750G and offers up to 8GB of RAM, a 48MP camera and a 3900mAh battery.
