Nubia has announced the mid-range gaming phone Nubia Neo 5G in Thailand. The interesting thing about the device is that it does not run on a Qualcomm or MediaTek chipset. Instead it has a new Unisoc chip. Here’s a look at the device’s specs, features, and price.
Nubia Neo 5G specs and features
The Nubia Neo 5G features a 6.6-inch teardrop-shaped ISP LCD panel. The screen has FHD+ 2408×1080 pixels resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the gaming phone is powered by a 6nm Unisoc T820 chipset running at up to 2.7GHz. The SoC is paired with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 8GB of virtual RAM.
Nubia’s mid-range gaming phone packs a 4,500mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging. It offers 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage and a microSD card slot for additional storage. The device comes pre-installed with Android 13 OS.
The Nubia Neo 5G has an 8-megapixel front camera along with a 50-megapixel (primary) + 2-megapixel dual rear camera. Other features included in the Nubia Neo 5G include dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, USB-C port, microSD card slot, multi-layer heat sink, face unlock and side fingerprint browser is included. . Finally, the device measures 163.7 x 75.0 x 7.98mm.

ZTE’s online stores at Lazada and Shopee are now accepting pre-orders for the Nubia Neo 5G. The device costs THB 6,999 (~$199) and is available in two colors: Phantom Black and War-damaged Yellow.
