Huawei has been banned from selling 5G devices for years. However, the company has managed to push some of its 5G-enabled products through partners. It continues to do so. For those who don’t know, Huawei has partnerships with a few companies like TD Tech, Wiko, and China Post. These companies sell individual Huawei 5G phones under their own brands.
Since these companies are not owned by Huawei, they can legally sell 5G products. For example, China Post sells 5G versions of Huawei Nova series phones. According to a new leak, it will introduce a new model very soon.
A Weibo informant said, “Mr. Pengoeng shared a few photos of the Hi Nova 11 mockups here. As the name suggests, this device will be the 5G version of the Huawei Nova 11. The Hi Nova 11 will be the successor to last year’s Hi Nova 10. It is unknown at this time whether there will be a professional version.
Judging by the images, the Hi Nova 11 will be almost identical to the Huawei Nova 11 with a few exceptions. First, it will offer 5G support, and second, it will likely not have satellite connectivity. Also, the leak indicates that it may not use Kunlun glass to protect the screen.
According to the pictures, the phone will be available in at least two colors like white and green. For comparison, it comes in four colors, including the original black and gold.
As for the features confirmed from the images, the Hi Nova 11 will come with a 6.88 mm slim body, 60 MP front camera, 50 MP rear camera and 66 W fast wired charging support. Like previous Hi Nova phones, this one may remain exclusive to mainland China.
