The arrival of the Nothing Phone (2) is very close. The presentation is scheduled for next July 11 at 17:00 (Spanish peninsula time), and as usual at the hype firm, the first developments in the device are already showing.

One of the biggest innovations at the software level comes from an interesting collaboration between Nothing and Swedish House Mafia, a famous electronics group. throughto the new Glyph Composer appusers will be able to create their own custom ringtones that will sync with the back of the device.

Glyph Generator. This is the name of the new app that will reach both the existing Nothing Phone (1) and the upcoming Nothing Phone (2), the premium range terminal that will succeed it. The app stems from a collaboration with Swedish House Mafia, which has signed off on the sound pack that will be available. create our own ringtones.

The application allows you to create your own ringtone connected to the back LEDs, through an interface that simulates electronic pads.

The application will be a tone creator: we will be able to create an instrumental with preset sounds to configure our own melody. In other words, every time we press with a tone, the LED on the back of the device will light up.

In addition to the default ringtones on the phone, we can save different ringtones created with the application, which comes with the function of synchronization with the back LEDs. The Nothing Phone (2) is said to have slightly different LED models than its predecessor.

Although there is a special premiere for the new model and it is expected to reach the previous one in subsequent updates, there are no details about the arrival of this application on Nothing Phone (1). We already know the purported design of the Nothing Phone (2), we’ve received confirmation from the company that it will mount the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, and it seems clear that it will be a much more ambitious device than its predecessor.
