New leaks have revealed many of the key details of the upcoming Xiaomi 13T and 13T Pro. Both phones are expected to make their global debut on September 1st and will come with solid hardware alongside what appears to be a jump in price, at least in the UK.
After the global launch of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra a few weeks ago, Xiaomi looks set to launch its next line of premium devices to the global market. The Xiaomi 13T and its more expensive sibling, the Xiaomi 13T Pro, seem to be on the way, and information about their specs and pricing is now out in the wild.
The source of SnoopyTech has revealed that the vanilla Xiaomi 13T will launch with 144Hz AMOLED, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, 67W charging and a 5,000mAh battery. Xiaomi 13T Pro will keep 144Hz AMOLED and 5,000mAh battery, but will get 12GB RAM, 512GB storage and 120W charging boost. Interestingly, it looks like both the 13T and 13T Pro will have Leica-branded cameras after the 12T series was launched last year.
Xiaomi 13T is listed as “flagship 4nm SoC” while 13T Pro appears to be powered by “flagship 4nm SoC”. That said, both phones are unlikely to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Last year’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and possibly MediaTek’s Dimensity 9200 seem to be more likely options.
Either way, both phones will debut with MIUI 14. The launch appears to be scheduled for September 1. Xiaomi will also ship the 13T and 13T Pro in boxes with charging units. As for pricing, the standard Xiaomi 13T will be slightly more expensive at £599 in the UK, and the Xiaomi 13T Pro at £799. For perspective, the 256GB Xiaomi 12T has launched in the UK with an RRP of £549.
