A lot of information has appeared on the network explaining the features of the first foldable smartphone that OnePlus is preparing to release. The details were shared by well-known network whistleblower Steve Hemmerstoffer, known on Twitter as Onleaks. A week ago, OnePlus released the first images of a foldable smartphone.
According to the source, OnePlus’ first foldable phone will receive flagship equipment and compete in various regions with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5, which is expected to launch in Seoul next month. The official launch of the OnePlus Fold is expected in August, but OnePlus has yet to announce an announcement date.
Thus, the OnePlus Fold will feature a large internal 7.8-inch foldable AMOLED display with 2K resolution and a frame rate of 120 Hz, and a 6.3-inch external AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
Under the hood will be installed Qualcomm’s current flagship SoC – Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, as well as 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of memory, a battery with a capacity of 4800 mAh with support for 67 W charging. Hasselblad’s triple camera (48MP primary module, 48MP ultra-wide-angle module and 64MP telephoto module) will be installed on the rear panel. For selfies, there is an internal 32 MP camera on the outside and a 20 MP camera on the inside.
Based on the Android 13 operating system, Oxygen OS 13.1 will be installed on the smartphone “out of the box”. There is also a side fingerprint scanner and a notification key.
