Chinese company Xiaomi has introduced a new low-cost smartphone under the Redmi brand. The base model Redmi Note 12R turned out to be more powerful and larger than the Redmi Note 12R Pro, but lost its AMOLED screen.
Redmi Note 12R has already gone on sale in China. Chinese users can purchase the Redmi Note 12R starting at $152 for the version with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal flash memory.
The smartphone is equipped with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 single-chip system, which was launched literally yesterday and gets a 6.79 inch LCD display with full HD+ resolution (1080×2460 pixels) and frame rate.
Other highlights include Android 13 with MIUI 14 with dual primary cameras (50MP and 2MP) and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging support).
