Honor plans to launch the affordable smartphone Honor X50 in China on July 5. The day before, the brand mocked the technical specifications of the device. New details about the Honor X50 came from Digital Chat Station. According to him, the device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC. The chipset will run with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

Like the Honor X40, the X50’s highlight will be its display. The smartphone will have a curved OLED display with a resolution of 2652×1200 pixels (1.5K). This display is said to offer eye protection, so it can support high frequency PWM and certified low blue light mode.

Finally, according to the leak source, the rear camera system will be led by a 100MP primary camera. It also states that the phone will fit in the 1,000 yen price bracket. As such, it will be one of the most affordable curved screen smartphones with 5G support.

Apart from the mentioned features, Honor has officially confirmed that the device will be powered by a 5,800mAh battery. Additionally, the phone’s 3C certification indicates that it will support 35W fast wired charging.
