The long-awaited launch of the Phone (2) is set for July 7. The upcoming phone is expected to offer a host of exciting features, including the powerful Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC and innovative Glyph interface features. In addition, Nothing introduces Nothing OS 2.0, a brand new operating system designed with a focus on performance and minimalism. Interestingly, this new OS will also be available for the existing Nothing Phone (1) from August. Meanwhile, Nothing has released a software update for its current devices with numerous bug fixes and improvements to improve the user experience.

With a file size of 114MB, the latest update, version 1.5.5, brings a host of improvements and features for users to explore. Notable improvements include increased RAM for smoother multitasking. The face unlock functionality has also been improved. Additionally, the update optimizes battery usage by reducing Bluetooth power consumption.   • Improved the performance of Face Unlock by improving recognition accuracy in the dark
  • Implemented RAM expansion that allows you to increase the number of programs open in the background by 10%.

  • Fixed an issue that sometimes caused Adaptive Brightness to turn off automatically.
