Dubbed the “Hip Hop 50”, this special edition features a stylish Obsidian color scheme with metallic accents on the sides and camera panel. It also proudly displays the milestone emblem on the camera panel.

However, unlike other devices, the “Hip Hop 50” Pixel Fold will not be available for sale. Instead, Google has decided to distribute it only to a select group of people through the #GiftFromGoogle program. The presentation of this limited edition is truly remarkable, as Google packs the phone in a custom suitcase player created by Victrola.

This exclusive Pixel Fold pack includes Pixel Watch and Pixel Buds Pro, as well as the exclusive ‘It’s All G’ lettering designed by Simone I. Smith and Mass Appeal min. Under these items, buyers will find a fully functional Victrola record player that they can enjoy with the included vinyl records.

The “Hip Hop 50” version of the Pixel Fold is a testament to Google’s commitment to celebrating hip-hop culture. In 2017, the company showed its commitment by posting an interactive doodle on its homepage to mark hip-hop’s 44th anniversary. Doodle allowed users to experiment with shuffling and scribbling on notes, providing an immersive experience still accessible from the Google Doodle blog.
