Vivo is preparing to announce its first smartphone called Vivo X Fold, which it will introduce on April 11th. A photo of a marketing stand for retail stores has surfaced online, revealing many of the phone’s features.
Vivo X Fold has been confirmed to have an 8-inch internal 2K folding display with a 120Hz refresh rate and LTPO 3.0 technology to replace the specified refresh rate. In addition, it will receive a 6.53-inch external display with 120 Hz support, FHD + resolution, single-chip system, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 flash memory, Android 12 and a 4600 mAh battery with 50 W support.
The phone is equipped with a quad camera with Zeiss logo, as well as the main image sensor Samsung GN5 with a resolution of 50 MP with optical stabilization. In addition, sensors with a resolution of 48, 12 and 5 MP are installed. The latter should provide 60x zoom. It has also been confirmed that the phone will receive Wi-Fi 6 and NFC modules.
The materials also state that the X Fold display meets or breaks 19 DisplayMate A+ records, and the hinge has been certified by TUV Rheinland for 300,000 bend/extend cycles. Source
