Honor CEO Zhao Ming continues to prepare the public for the release of a new smartphone Honor Magic V2. This time, he let Sina Digital’s editor-in-chief test the final version of the Honor Magic V2.
Not only was he impressed with how thin the smartphone came out even when folded, it quickly compared it to the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Sina Digital’s editor noted that when folded it doesn’t feel like a foldable smartphone – it’s very thin. At most, the smartphone is more comfortable in the hand than the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Zhao Ming commented, “According to conventional thinking, the evolution of folding screens has reached its limit. Because no matter how thin a smartphone is, it cannot be thinner than a USB-C port. We rejected this claim and made an excellent smartphone with a folding screen. Honor Magic V2 is a monoblock sized smartphone that comes with a foldable screen.”
When asked “What are Zhao Ming’s expectations from the iPhone 15”, the Honor leader replied briefly and clearly: “I have no expectations.” He previously stated: “The iPhone 15 will fundamentally change very little (compared to the iPhone 14) and the Honor Magic V2 is truly a revolutionary product.”
Honor Magic V2 It is Honor’s third product with a foldable screen. Its presentation should be made on 12 July.
