Xiaomi is expected to announce several products in China in August, such as the Redmi Pad 2, Redmi K60 Ultra, and Xiaomi Pad 6. But the star of the show will be the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3. So far, it has been reported that it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, but a new leak reveals that the foldable phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Overclocked version of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

According to the leak, the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 will be powered by an impressive Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor clocked at 3.36GHz, which is an overclocked version of the regular version clocked at 3.2GHz. The recently announced gaming smartphone Red Magic 8s Pro also has the same chip. It will run with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. It will be powered by a 4,800mAh battery with 67W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

Also, the speaker said that the MIX Fold 3 will feature a drop hinge that not only increases strength but also reduces weight to increase durability.

Other reports claim that the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 will feature a 6.56-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will have an 8.02-inch foldable display that supports Quad HD+ resolution of 2160×1912 pixels. Both displays will have a 120Hz refresh rate.

The built-in display will be equipped with an under-display fingerprint scanner. The rear camera setup of the device will include Sony IMX800 primary camera, 10x optical zoom periscope camera, 3.2x optical zoom telephoto camera and ultra wide lens. It will come pre-loaded with Android 13 based on MIUI 14.
