Last week, Samsung started offline sales of the new Snapdragon 888 powered Galaxy S21 5G variant. The smartphone is now officially listed for purchase on the Samsung India website. For those who don’t know, the South Korean technology giant announced the Galaxy S21 FE with Exynos 2100 chip in January 2022. The new variant of the phone is equipped with a Qualcomm chip i.e. Snapdragon 888 chip.
Galaxy S21 FE 2023 comes in a single configuration that offers 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. As seen in the screenshot above, Samsung’s India website lists the device at Rs 49,999 (~$607).
It is available in a variety of shades including olive, graphite, lavender, white and navy blue. Those who purchase the S21 FE using an HDFC debit card will be able to receive a cashback of Rs 5,000. It is not yet clear whether the device will be available for purchase via Amazon.
The Exynos 2100 and the new Snapdragon 888 variants of the Galaxy S21 FE share the same specs. It has a 6.4 inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. It has a 32-megapixel front camera and a 12-megapixel (primary with OIS) + 12-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 8-megapixel (telephoto) triple camera setup.
The S21 FE contains a 4,500mAh battery that supports 25W wired and 15W wireless charging. It should be noted that the retail package does not include a charger. The device is equipped with 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 memory. The official listing of the phone does not clearly indicate which Android and One UI versions are available in the S21 FE 2023.
