iQOO recently launched the iQOO 11S with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Reports claim it will soon face competition from Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 powered flagships like Realme GT Neo 6 series and OnePlus Ace 2 Pro. In a recent Weibo post, popular whistleblower Digital Chat Station shared some interesting details about the Ace 2 Pro and GT Neo 6 series.

Realme GT Neo 6 Series, OnePlus Ace 2 Pro Launch Date (Expected)

According to the report, both the Realme GT Neo 6 series and OnePlus Ace 2 Pro are expected to launch in August only in the Chinese market. There is currently no word on whether these devices will make their way to markets outside of China. It looks like both smartphones will have similar specs.

The leaker said that the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro and Realme GT Neo 6 series will feature an impressive 1.5K OLED panel, run on a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset clocked at 3.2GHz, and offer a generous 24GB LPDDR5x. RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. Both smartphones will feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 main camera with OIS that will provide stunning photography. They will also offer fast and easy charging solutions by supporting 150W charging.

According to previous reports, the Ace 2 Pro will have a curved screen, while the GT Neo 6 series is said to have a flat screen. The guide emphasized that the Ace 2 Pro will have the added benefit of efficient heat dissipation technology, while the GT Neo 6 series will stand out with its excellent 240W fast charging support. For those unaware, the GT Neo 6 will be offered in two variants that offer 150W and 240W fast charging, respectively.

In related news, Redmi is also expected to launch the Redmi K60 Ultra flagship phone in China in August. Although its rivals will be powered by a Snapdragon chip, the K60 Ultra will come with the Dimensity 9200 Plus.
