The Xiaomi Redmi 12 smartphone has been certified by the Bluetooth SIG, paving the way for its launch in India. The certificate with notification ID D063911 confirms that the device supports Bluetooth version 5.3.
Redmi 12 has already been announced in global markets like Thailand and Portugal and will launch in India on August 1, 2023. The Moonstone Silver variant of the smartphone was recently unveiled ahead of its planned launch in India. The leak also revealed that the Redmi 12 will be available on Amazon India.
Features of Redmi 12:
Redmi 12 has a 6.79-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. It is powered by 12nm MediaTek Helio G88 octa-core processor paired with ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU.
Redmi 12 offers two RAM options: 4GB and 8GB, 128GB and 256GB internal storage options that can be expanded up to 1TB via microSD card. It runs on Android 13 with MIUI 14.
The smartphone has a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera, as well as an 8MP front camera for selfies. The device unlocks securely with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and also has an IP53 dust and splash rating.
The device is powered by a 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support, which provides long-term use. In addition, the smartphone retained a 3.5mm audio jack for convenient connection of headphones.
