In May, HTC unveiled the U23 and U23 Pro smartphones in Taiwan and revealed detailed specifications and pricing information for the Pro model. However, pricing and availability information for the HTC U23 was not disclosed at the time. Now, the brand has officially announced that the HTC U23 is scheduled to launch in Taiwan on July 25.

The announcement of the HTC U23’s Taiwan release date was made on HTC Taiwan’s official Facebook page. They have provided a link to the upcoming device’s landing page where you can find extensive specifications and features for your reference.

Features of HTC U23

HTC U23 features a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz OLED display. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus, which provides scratch and shock resistance. The main camera setup consists of a 64-megapixel lens, an 8-megapixel lens, and a 2-megapixel lens, offering features such as pro mode, night mode, instant portrait mode, 120-degree wide-angle shots, beauty settings, slow motion and slow motion. The main camera supports 4K video recording with electronic image stabilization (EIS). There’s also a 32MP camera on the front that offers beauty settings, instant portrait mode, night scene mode and time-lapse photography.

HTC U23 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Its 4600mAh battery supports up to 30W fast charging, up to 15W wireless charging and reverse charging. The device has an IP67 certification which makes it waterproof and dustproof.

For audiophiles, the HTC U23 has dual speakers and a 3.5mm audio jack. It also supports Wi-Fi 6 for enhanced connectivity. The device is available in two colors: Aqua Blue and Roland Violet. Pricing details are expected to be announced on July 25, so stay tuned.
