Vivo is currently developing its X100 series flagship smartphones after the successful launch of the X90 series last year. The brand traditionally launches these devices in China in the fourth quarter, and the X100 series is expected to continue that trend with a release expected in late 2023. Ahead of the official launch, TheTechOutlook, in collaboration with whistleblower Paras Guglani, has released the alleged specs of the global variant of the Vivo X100 5G.

The global version of the Vivo X100 5G has an AMOLED display with model number V2308 and an adaptive refresh rate of 120 Hz. The device will be released worldwide in three colors: black, white and purple.

The report revealed that the global variant of Vivo X100 5G will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8 series processor. Previous rumors had indicated that the device in China will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset. This discrepancy could potentially be interpreted as a cost-cutting strategy and encourage customers to choose the Pro model over the standard Vivo X100 5G. However, it is important to remember that these are all rumors and speculations and an official confirmation from Vivo is awaited.

In addition, the brand will release a smartphone in 128 GB and 256 GB memory models, which will be equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery with 100 W fast charging support. On the other hand, the device will debut with a new operating system based on Android 14.
