Apple is preparing to launch the iPhone 15 series soon, but the launch of the more advanced iPhone 15 Pro series is unlikely to be easy as the company may encounter problems in the production of its display panels.

The Cupertino-based giant is apparently having production issues with the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max. Rumors that Apple may delay the launch of the iPhone 15 series are widespread, and a recent report points to a similar scenario. The company is having problems with the production of display panels for its high-end Pro models. For those who don’t know, the iPhone 15 Pro models will feature ultra-thin bezels around the screen thanks to a new manufacturing process.

However, Foxconn noticed problems with these LG-made displays during the escalation phase of production. At this point, Apple’s supplier manufactures hundreds of thousands of units of the device. This helps identify any product defects. According to a source close to the subject, the LG-made display failed the reliability test after going through the new LIPO (low pressure molding) process.

This process ensures that the screen is attached to the metal body before the smartphone is mounted. The source added that the problem affects the iPhone 15 Pro Max more, so its lack may be worse than the iPhone 15 Pro. Keep in mind that this is just an unconfirmed report, so take this news with some skepticism for now and stay tuned for more updates.
