Realme C51 was just announced in Taiwan. The company’s latest edition is an affordable smartphone model that packs some key features despite its low price tag.
Technical specifications of Realme C51
Realme C51 has a 6.7 inch IPS LCD panel with HD+ resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate. The display also offers a 180Hz touch sampling rate and a peak brightness of up to 560 nits. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the UNISOC T612 SoC, the same chipset that powers the Realme C53 that was recently announced in India. The C51 and C53 look pretty similar in terms of design and specs. It has a similar design and dual camera setup on the back as well.
Although this model only offers a 50-megapixel main shooter as opposed to the 108-megapixel sensor in the C53. Meanwhile, the front panel houses an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. The processor is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage expandable up to 2TB via a MicroSD card slot. Huge 5000mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC fast charging support. Other notable features include a 3.5mm headphone jack, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Android 13 out of the box, just 7.99 thick and 186 grams in weight.
Pricing and Availability
Realme C51 comes to Taiwan in two color options, Mint Green and Carbon Black. It is priced at NT$3,990 which is roughly around $127 for the single 4GB + 64GB variant. The device will go on sale in Taiwan starting tomorrow (July 25, 2023).
