The Sony Xperia IV retains the design of its predecessor, the Sony Xperia 1 III. Actually, have the same size and the main difference is that this model, if not the only one, is a gram heavier. However, Sony confirms that it is now more comfortable in the hand and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus on both the front and back.

Among the aspects to be highlighted, the device is a button to activate camera shutter, headphone jack and stereo speakers. At the back, we see a vertical module with three main sensors and an LED flash placed on it. There is no news about it.

When it comes to the screen, Sony once again 21:9 format, so we’re talking about a fairly long cell phone. The panel has no notches or perforations, but the device has two small bezels on both the top and bottom, giving it at least that symmetrical look that’s less common in photos.

The screen consists of: 6.5-inch OLED panel with 4K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and 240 Hz touch sampling. According to Sony, it’s 50% brighter than its predecessor and includes real-time HDR that improves the visibility of bright and dark areas even in very bright environments.

Also, the firm’s BraviaHDR Thanks to the X1 Mobile engine. According to Sony, this technology improves contrast, color and clarity, even when streaming content. The set is complete with support for high definition audio, Dolby Atmos, DTS and LDAC. This shows that Sony has experience in the television world.
