The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro has received 3C certification confirming its imminent launch in China. In the 3C database, the device appeared under the model number PJA110. The certificate shows how fast OnePlus’ new Ace series device will charge. It also indicates that the device may be introduced in August.
A few days ago, OnePlus Ace 2 Pro appeared on the Geekbench listing platform. Well, it didn’t show itself on this platform called “OnePlus Ace 2 Pro”, instead it used a code. The code he used on this platform was PJA110, and that’s exactly the code found in the 3C certification documentation.
A Geekbench listing of the device revealed that the device will come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, 16GB of RAM and Android 13. The 3C certification of the device gives clues about the charging speed. Certification documents say the OnePlus PJA110 will ship with an 11V/13.7A power adapter (VCBEJACH). At 11 V/13.7 A, this power adapter supports 150 W charging speed. This is a huge upgrade over the 100W (11V/9.1A) charging speed that the Ace 2 launched.
OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is expected to have impressive features. This device is said to have a 5500mAh battery. The screen size here will be 6.74 inches and will use a curved OLED display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. There will be an optical fingerprint sensor under the screen for security.
The SD8G2-based device is expected to come with up to 24GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It will run on Android 13 based on ColorOS 13.1.
The Ace 2 Pro will come with three rear camera sensors for photography: a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro camera. In the global market, the device will likely be renamed OnePlus 12R.
