Oppo is reportedly working on Find X7 series smartphones. Competing Chinese brands are expected to launch their flagship phones by the end of this year, while the Find X7 and Find X7 Pro are expected to launch in the domestic market in the first quarter of 2024. Long before the launch, a Chinese informant revealed important information about the Find X7 Pro.

OPPO Find X7 Pro: What to expect?

According to the tipster, the improvements in Oppo Find X7 Pro are relatively minor compared to Find X6 Pro. An insider also said that while it offers some additional improvements, including a better design, its main focus is on fixing the X6 Pro’s shortcomings.

The tipster added that the Oppo Find X7 Pro and Find X6 Pro share common features such as the curved-edge Samsung E6 AMOLED LTPO display, which offers 2K resolution, 2500 nits peak brightness, 720Hz low-frequency dimming mode with PWM. Select 1440 Hz dimming high frequency PWM modification in developer mode.

Both phones feature a 32-megapixel front camera (Sony IMX709 sensor) and a rear camera with a 50-megapixel main camera (Sony IMX989 rebranded as Sony LYT900), a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera (rebranded as Sony IMX890). Sony LYT700) as well as a 50 megapixel periscope telephoto camera (Sony LYT700).

The degree of improvement of Find X7 Pro depends on possible improvements in additional lens and display parameters. The device seems to offer an enhanced video recording experience.

Although not mentioned in the leak, the Find X7 Pro is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The highest variant of the device could have 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. According to a previous report, the X7 Pro can support 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
