With this new driver, gamers will be able to experience the benefits of DLSS 2 in Baldur’s Gate 3 and other compatible games. The update not only adds new features but also fixes some issues found in previous versions.

Some of the fixed issues include tearing and partial video flickering seen in Control screensavers. Also, Battlefield 2042’s stability has been improved, especially when using GeForce Experience Freestyle filters. The update also fixes stability issues with games using GeForce Experience Freestyle filters with DLSS 3 Frame Generation scaling technology. Gamers looking forward to the Dead Space remake will be happy to know that their stability issues have been fixed.

In addition, the driver resolves audio issues when using NVIDIA Broadcast and Elgato Wave Link effects, providing a smoother and more immersive gaming experience.

Known flaws of the update

It’s worth noting that the update includes these improvements as well as a list of known issues. Maxwell-based GPU users may notice a significant performance drop in Halo Infinite. The update also includes fixes for stability issues in digital content creation programs due to excessive memory usage. However, it has been reported that in some cases this fix may cause performance degradation in Stable Diffusion and DaVinci Resolve. NVIDIA assured users that these issues will be fixed in future driver updates.

Interested users can download the GeForce Game Ready 536.99 WHQL driver directly from NVIDIA’s official website or via the GeForce Experience app to access it.
