As it turned out, WhatsApp, which is constantly coming up with new features to improve user experience, is planning to bring a special innovation to group conversations. The new feature was spotted by WaBetaInfo in the latest beta of the Android version of the app.

How will it be used?

WaBetaInfo also shared a screenshot of how the feature will work. We see it will be quite easy to schedule from here. Users can enter the group to search and click on the top right. search button will have to be pressed. Then to search select date and time options appear.

A reminder can be set for calls. Users who have set reminders will be notified before the scheduled call begins. You will be informed 15 minutes in advance.

It’s currently not possible to say when the meeting scheduling feature will be available to everyone. However, the beta testing of the platform shows that the feature may appear in the near future.
