Now, a new report from South Korean publisher Chosun citing an industry source reveals new information about the S24 series. Samsung is expected to continue its tradition of launching Galaxy S flagships in February next year.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 series will include standard, plus and ultra variants. They will be the successors of the current generation S23 models. Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus start with 8GB RAM base configuration while the base variant of S23 Ultra has 12GB RAM.

The report shows that the base models of the next-gen Samsung Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus will have increased RAM and storage. They will now have 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory. This will also be the standard base configuration for all Galaxy S24 series devices. This is good news for Samsung fans, as the base variant gets a hardware upgrade at a slightly higher price.

According to the report, the Samsung Galaxy S24 series will have Samsung’s latest display technology. All devices in the line will receive the company’s latest OLED panel in the M13 series. It is said to be lighter and more power efficient than the previous generation M12 panels found on the latest Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5. The upcoming iPhone 15 series is also expected to have M12 panels, namely the Samsung Galaxy S24 series. It will gain an advantage over Apple’s new generation iPhone.
