According to insider Unknownz21, the fourth-generation iPhone SE will feature an action button like the iPhone 15 Pro and a few other key new features. Earlier this week, an insider described the fourth-generation iPhone SE as “effectively derived from the iPhone 14,” echoing previous reports from Ming-Chi Kuo and other sources.
Unknownz21 stated that its design will be based on the iPhone 14. The device will be equipped with a USB-C port. The smartphones are also likely to feature Face ID, dispelling previous rumors that the iPhone SE could protect the Touch ID button.
Like the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, the action button will be very different from the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, which are not expected to have such a button on the iPhone SE. The iPhone SE will also have a single rear camera.
Manufacturers are now participating in tenders to take orders from Apple for the OLED display for the new iPhone SE. Additionally, the next-generation iPhone SE will be one of the first models to be equipped with a dedicated Apple 5G modem. The smartphone is expected to be released before 2025.
Insider Unknownz21 previously shared the first image of the bottom of the iPhone 15 Pro, showing the speaker grill as well as the USB-C port. It had previously leaked internal documents confirming that the Wi-Fi 6E module will only be on iPhone 15 Pro models.
