Very useful
RFID is the foundation of scanning technologies such as: subway tickets or touch payment system. Windall says his chips help him quickly solve other household chores as well. Most often – for identification: in toggles, access keys, car keys and another. When he wants to go to the club in the evening and not to take his bag and keys with him, it will not be difficult to return home – a special lock reads the tag under his skin and opens the door.
The major drawback is that the locks themselves must be modified to work with implanted RFIDs. Actually this is a hacking issue that requires certain technical skills to make a lock.
Data security is mentioned among the advantages of Windall. An ID card or key can be stolen, but an implanted chip is nearly impossible to copy.
As for the aesthetics, the owner of the chips says they are “often not particularly noticeable.”
