Several reports claimed that iQOO will launch iQOO Z8 series smartphones like iQOO Z8 and iQOO Z8x by the end of this month. But a new leak claims that the Z8 won’t hit the market this month. The leak also revealed RAM and storage details that appear to be the best-in-class Z8 variant.

iQOO Z8 startup time, configuration

According to Panda is Bald, the iQOO Z8 is scheduled to launch in China in early September. The highest version of the device is expected to provide users with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. For reference, the previous iteration Z7, which launched in China earlier this year, offered a maximum configuration of 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The guide also shared important information about the color options of the Z8. It looks like the phone will be available in three colors: Black, Blue and Isle of Man (Green). The third color option is expected to replace the orange version seen in the Z7 series.

According to other reports, the iQOO Z8 will feature a 6.64-inch IPS LCD panel with Full HD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. It will have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security and will run on Android 13 based on OriginOS 3.0.

The iQOO Z8 was recently spotted on Geekbench with the Dimensity 8200 chip and 12GB of RAM. It is likely to have a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. For photography, the device will have a 64-megapixel primary camera with OIS support. Other features of the Z8 are not yet known.
