Although the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series is a few months away, rumors about the upcoming flagship smartphones are already starting to emerge. Now, a new leak has revealed interesting details about the top model Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Samsung Galaxy 24 Ultra has a new and improved display

The leak was shared by Ice Universe, a well-known whistleblower who shared the information on X (formerly Twitter). Judging by the tweet, he said he could confirm that the Galaxy S24 Ultra model has finally received noticeable screen upgrades. Unfortunately, the whistleblower did not reveal any details about these improvements, so the update or possible new features are still unclear.

Ice Universe’s tweet is in line with our previous news. The South Korean tech giant will reportedly ship the Galaxy S24 Ultra with a new and improved M13 OLED material. This M13 OLED will likely be an upgraded panel compared to its predecessor which is the M12 and M11. The first is expected to appear on the iPhone 15, and the second on the current Galaxy S23 series.

In other words, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will be a real upgrade over the current generation Galaxy S23 Ultra. Some of the possible improvements could include an overall brightness that can exceed 2000 nits at peak. The panel also offers better energy efficiency, helping to keep the battery low. Note that this is just a guess at this point.
