How will everything change

One of the most notable changes is the addition of interactive cards to the Options menu. These cards act as organized sets for frequently used functions, making navigation more intuitive.

There are currently seven different tabs on the home screen, each dedicated to a specific set of settings. Microsoft has announced that it plans to further expand the scope of existing features by offering add-on cards over time. The current set of cards covers the following categories:

  1. Recommended settings: Selection of configurations tailored to individual preferences.
  2. space in the cloud: Enables easy management of cloud storage by optimizing digital space.
  3. Account recovery: Provides simplified recovery and account recovery options.
  4. Personalization: Allows users to customize the Windows 11 environment according to their preferences.
  5. Microsoft 365: Seamless access to the productivity-enhancing Microsoft 365 suite.
  6. xbox: Special settings for gamers to optimize their gaming experience.
  7. Bluetooth devices: Simplified settings for connected Bluetooth devices.

One of the notable features of these beta versions is the inclusion of Windows Backup, a program designed to make backing up your computer easier. This app now extends its functionality to not only protect your device settings but also save installed apps.

Also, the addition of saving program shortcuts makes it easy to set up a new computer. When setting up a new computer, the program shortcuts will be saved in their old places.

In cases where the required application is available in the Microsoft Store, users can easily restore the application from there. Windows 11 offers a simple solution for apps not hosted on the Microsoft Store. Users are seamlessly directed to the relevant developer’s website, allowing them to easily purchase the application they need.
