Luckily, I was able to analyze the bulk of the high-end terminals presented this 2023. With just over a third of the year left, there is a feeling that the most important thing is already out. We haven’t met the iPhone 15 Pro and Pixel 8 Pro yet, but these are more terminals that will compete with the 2024 high-end when they’re released at the end of the year.
I’m clear on the three models that leave me with the best feelings on a personal level. Three phones that you will use every day and that manage to get away from their competitors in their segment.
For me it is currently the best mobile device in the Android ecosystem. I’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra since it was released, and while it may seem like a minor evolution compared to the S22 Ultra, nothing is that far from the truth.
Android flagship with the best autonomy (it got better in six months of use, far from a pain), the camera is downright brutal and outperforms the iPhone 14 Pro’s camera in key points like zooming, high-res shooting (200 megapixels isn’t just marketing) and selfie.
It is also the fastest Android to update security patches even before Pixel 6. Samsung’s support for it is simply incredible: Google has more years of updates than it promises.
Space saving for the improvement I’ve seen in One UI on a visual level, from my point of view it’s an example all androids should: A mobile with virtually no weak points, an all-round camera, fast charging that leaves little doubt in terms of durability, and outstanding multimedia features.
I had the opportunity to travel to China to get acquainted with the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, where I had the opportunity to thoroughly test its camera for about a week. Unbelievable. Your camera is simply amazing.. Compared to the Xiaomi 13 Pro, the difference is huge: the processing algorithms in this mobile are much more careful, the amount of fine detail is accessible to very few people, and the zoom capabilities (almost) rival those of Samsung.
Its weak points are only MIUI and a phone with autonomy. Otherwise, one of the most refined pieces of technology ever made It’s a sign that Xiaomi can compete face-to-face with the best phones on the market in recent years.
Few phones are considered less important than the Razr 40 Ultra. It doesn’t have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 of its main rival, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5, but has a secondary display with a resolution of 1,066 x 1,056p and a refresh rate of 144 Hz.
It is also a device can run any app locally on your external displayand it has a software version very close to stock Android. The main downside is that for the same price, the Flip5 looks sweeter in terms of design, support and some features, but the Razr 40 Ultra is one of the few clamshell type foldables to fit in my pocket.
